Man I hate that woman. Whether we like it or not, there is such a thing as freedom of religion, and freedom FROM religion (at least in this country, though both those freedoms are being violated all the time). Hasn't Christianity caused enough damage throughout the ages? Let me correct that - hasn't religion in general caused enough damage, war, hatred and bloodshed throughout the ages? Converting people to another vile religion isn't going to help matters.
"Invade their countries and kill their leaders" - gee, that doesn't sound very Christian-like, Ann.
Sorry, I didn't understand what "hummm" is supposed to mean. I take it you disagree? That's okay. Either you love Ann or you hate her. Though I think she's brave to say exactly what she feels, I think most of her opinions are vile. Like her thoughts on the surviving spouses of men who died saving people during 9-11 cashing in on their husband's deaths. Her problem is that she doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut. I'd like to see how she felt if she lost someone that day.
But the beauty of America is that Ann can say, excuse me, get away with saying, anything she wants, despite how it may effect the feelings of others, like those poor widows.
Hmm... it'll have to be one of our sticking points, Alison. I like Ann Coulter.
Most Christians do like her, so I understand.
Some of what she says I agree with, but a lot I don't. I think her tactics are barbaric and she's a complete bitch. But again, she's got a right to say what she wants.

They did cash in on their husband's deaths, but I don't think they rejoiced in it like she alleges. Even if they did cash in, I think Ann should have just left them alone.

I posted a column of hers in my blog about Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright. About anyone on the political spectrum can agree with what she wrote there.

I don't think anyone has the right to assume that that is what their sole intentions were. I don't think that's what their primary purpose was at all. People have different ways of dealing with tragedies like that. I'm not saying that cashing in purposely isn't morally wrong, it is, but who are we to assume that was their primary goal? One should not judge or assume until we've walked a mile in someone else's shoes.

I replied on that blog - I totally agree with her opinion there.
She fileted and barbecued those women and made them look like they were evil incarnate. That was totally unfair of her. And, like she doesn't cash in herself on being such a bitch? That's how she made a name for herself, by judging other people. She needs to take a look in her own backyard before she starts slinging the dirt at other people.
I don't think it was their primary goal either but that really wasn't necessary of them.
Maybe it wasn't, but that's not for anyone else to say, we're not in their shoes. To judge and be vile towards people for things she couldn't possibly understand just wasn't called for. Lots of people do lots of things that we may not understand, but I don't think that justifies anyone crucifying them in public for it, especially when they have no clue what it's like to be in their shoes.
I wasn't arguing with you. I just get uppity about people like Ann who take it upon themselves to crucify people in public, more so when they can't possibly understand the situation on a personal level.
Thanks Ze. I had no doubt you would understand, especially some of the conversations we've had about certain subjects. I guess I'm sensitive about certain things.
I like Ann and just about all she says.I was sick of those women long before Ann said anything. I have the utmost respect for all the other women who spoke up at many affairs, just not the ones Ann spoke of.
I enjoy (and agree with mostly) everything she has thought out and writes. Finding the time to enjoy another one of her books is at the top of my "to do list."

Christian-like or not, it's all about survival. Islam proclaimed and mandated that very idea in their Koran almost 1400 years ago and profess the very same every day...."Death to America" is blared out loud-speakers daily in Jihad-world. Given the facts, Ann has deduced the most logical conclusion.
